The re•form method offers a profound combination of trauma-informed mindfulness + meditation instruction with arts- and somatic-based coaching for body, mind and spirit.
In 2011, Aurelie Richards began the process of developing her unique coaching method, during a two-year residency in the Plum Village communities of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn, consolidating her method by taking a certificate programme at MIT with Otto Scharmer in his Theory U method of facilitation.
Informing the method are her certificates in Reiki, Shiatsu, and Acupuncture, and further informed by continued education in attachment theory, somatic experiencing, trauma releasing exercises, craniosacral biodynamics, and emotional freedom technique.
The coaching method is conceived through anti-oppression lenses having gone through extensive racial justice trainings, power analysis seminars, and having a trans experience.
